Instructions for permanently removing your Insofy account

How to Delete Your Account

If you would like to permanently delete your Insofy account and all associated data, please follow these steps:

Option 1: Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your Insofy account
  2. Navigate to your Profile page
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  4. Click the "Delete Account" button
  5. Follow the confirmation prompts to complete the deletion

Option 2: Contact Support

If you're having trouble with the self-service deletion or need assistance, you can email our support team:

Please include your account email address and mention that you want to delete your account.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

When you delete your Insofy account, the following will occur:

  • Your profile and account information will be permanently removed
  • All your messages and chat history will be deleted
  • You will be removed from all rooms and conversations
  • Your preferences and settings will be erased
  • Any uploaded files or media will be deleted

Important Considerations

⚠️ Account Deletion is Permanent

  • This action cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all your data permanently
  • You will need to create a new account if you want to use Insofy again
  • Any premium features or subscriptions will be cancelled

Data Retention

While we will delete your account and personal data, please note:

  • Some data may be retained for legal, security, or operational purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy
  • Anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes
  • Messages sent to other users may remain visible to them even after your account is deleted
